Our Top 5 Car Shows

Here at www.window-tint.co.uk we’ve put together a list of our top 5 car shows. In no particular order, they are as follows:

SEMA

1) The SEMA Show has to be our favourite car show. It is held each year at the Las Vegas Convention Center in America, and in 2016 attracted over 60,000 domestic and international buyers. This year the Show takes place on October 31st – 3rd November. As well as providing great network opportunities and the chance to witness new product demonstrations, there is also a detailed programme of educational seminars taking place over the week. However, show is a trade only event and unfortunately is not open to the general public.

LondonMotorShow

2) The London Motor Show is another big one. It is held this year at Battersea Park between Thursday 4th and Sunday 7th May. Great for a family day out, there is lots to do, with entertainment such as virtual reality racing and full motion simulators. There are also celebrities such as Nigel Mansell who talk to fans and signed lots of autographs! This year there will be over 150 new vehicles on display, as well as various industry and guest speakers.

3) Automechanika, Birmingham is the UK’s leading exhibition for the automotive aftermarket and supply chain. This year, the event is set to be around 70% bigger than in 2016, with more than 800 exhibitors on display at the show. There are educational seminars here too, covering a wide range of topics that are relevant to industry professionals. The dates for this year’s exhibition are 6th – 8th June.

Frankfurt

4) The Frankfurt Motor Show in Germany takes place this year from 14th – 24th September, running every alternate year with the Paris Motor Show. It is organised by the German Association of the Automotive Industry and is the home motor show of the German car manufacturing industry. Massive names such as BMW, Volkswagen, and Mercedes all make regular appearances at the show.

Carfest

5) CarFest North and South. With a festival in the North in Cheshire at Bolesworth Estate from 28-30th July, and one in Hampshire at Laverstoke Park Farm from 25th-27th August, Carfest is another great family day out. With music from groups such as Manic Street Preachers, Dodgy and Rick Astley and with a large food fair, there really is something for everyone. CarFest is a big supporter of BBC charity Children in Need and has raised £7.4 million for them so far.
