Car Show Of The Month – Race, Rock ‘n’ Ride

This year’s Race, Rock ‘n’ Ride takes place on Saturday 20th and Sunday 21st May, and includes evening entertainment from headliners Thin Lizzy tribute act Limehouse Lizzy.

The show is hosted by Santa Pod in Northwest Bedforshire, which is the most famous drag racing track outside of America and is known as the “home of European Drag Racing”. With over 50 different events at Race, Rock ‘n’ Ride and with an emphasis on families, there really is something for everyone. For a list of highlights for this year’s show you can click here.

At Race, Rock ‘n’ Ride 2017 is the addition of a national stage of ACU Drag Bike Championships. This year scooters will also feature in the show and will be racing down the Santa Pod sprint track at very high speeds! In addition to this, Eric Teboul, the world record holder for the fastest accelerating man on two wheels, will be around on both the Saturday and Sunday. There will  be a variety of stunt shows, and for those beginners who fancy having a go on two wheels, the motorcycle industry’s free try-out programme Get On! will be available to lend a hand to anyone aged 14 years or over.

Advance weekend tickets are available for the show at £23 until Friday 12th May from the Race, Rock ‘n’ Ride website. If you buy a pass when you arrive it will cost you £30. Advance day tickets are also on offer for £13 per person, and will cost £20 on the day.
